State of Being Alphabet 2013 - Current
This project is one of discovery for me as an artist.
I had an idea to try and portray a “state of being”, a psychological state or a way of acting in a certain way as a starting point for my paintings by focusing on colours and textures.
Trialing different techniques and abstract compositions it is my way of growing and understanding my style and voice. This series of paintings would not primarily show cohesion but a visual road map of my artistic journey.
They are all oil on canvas, 12x16 inches (30.5 x 40cm) by 1.5 inches thick.
Some of the original art pieces are available in the online store and there are Limited Edition prints in A4 and A3 size for each painting.
